A Voice For The Voiceless.

It's important to be heard when you're fighting against oppression, but what if someone feels like they do not have a voice? This is an attempt at a game made to tackle the issue of social anxiety in a world of oppression and where even the most reserved is willing to be heard.

My goal of this game was to have the player "choose their words carefully" as they are trying to provide good arguments against the opposition on a topic they feel strongly about. The player boosts up a Confidence Meter where the good the arguments are, the more likely you're willing and able to state your arguments and prove your point.

Developing this game was a pretty tough experience for myself as I tried to figure out a game mechanic that best encapsulates the idea of social anxiety at a time where you want to speak your mind. Most of the time was spent brainstorming a solid game plan, but there was a lot of trouble executing said gameplan. During this development process, I guess you can say that I had a lot of trouble finding my voice and creating a game that tackles a problem that's near and dear to my heart.

This game is basically a prototype at this point. I would like to continue working on this game down the line, but I don't know how this is gonna work out in the long run.

Any feedback is welcome.

Play game in 1024x768 aspect ratio.
